Getting to the end of this cycle and all we have left now is to review function notation. The students watched this video before coming to class and all that was left was to finish some examples with them. The idea of function notation was well received by all. They realize :
It shows you exactly what you replaced and what it equals!
Some questions I had were :
Is it always f and x? Can it be other letters?
We were precisely going to talk about this in class when finishing the examples in their « cahier référentiel. »
